FOUR BOLL WEEVILS NAMED TO ALL-GAC TEAMS

2022 All-GAC Selections

Four University of Arkansas at Monticello football players were selected to All-GAC teams as announced by the conference.

Junior linebacker Damarous White was a First-Team All-GAC selection after anchoring the Weevils defense. He accumulated 77 total tackles with 49 solo(4th GAC), 11.0 tackles for loss(3rd GAC), including a sack and a forced fumble.

Sophomore defensive back Gregg Hooks earned a Second-Team selection. Hooks amassed 32 total tackles with 4 interceptions (3rd GAC) and 3 pass break ups.

Wide-receiver LaCedric Smith, and defensive lineman Alfernee Hankins both were selected as All-GAC Honorable Mention picks. Smith led the Weevils in both receptions and receiving yards, grabbing 68 passes for 673 yards and 5 touchdowns. Hankins finished the season with 43 total tackles, posting 9.5 tackles for loss.
