Foo Fighters have dug up a batch of live radio performances for a new EP.
The four-track collection, dubbed Live on the Radio 1996, includes renditions of the songs “For All the Cows,” “How I Miss You,” “Wattershed” and “Up in Arms.” It’s available now exclusively through Amazon Music.
Live on the Radio 1996 was uncovered by Scott Weiss, the audio engineer for the recording session. He submitted it for Foo Fighters’ People of Rock and Roll archival project, which asked fans to share their favorite Foo-related memories or memorabilia.
“Putting this tape in and giving it a listen after all these years was such a flashback!” Weiss says. “It’s a unique recording and I don’t think Foo fans often get a chance to hear Dave [Grohl] sing like he did that night.”
