Dollarway High School Class of 1983 will celebrate its 35th reunion on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 5:30pm to 12:30am at the Pine Bluff Country Club.

All members of the class are invited to attend the reunion.

Walter Pryor, the 1983 class valedictorian, will be the featured speaker, according to a news release.  Pryor is senior vice president of government relations and general counsel for Ceannate Corp. of Rolling Meadows, Illinois.  Previously, Pryor was vice president of government affairs for Career Education Corp. and as a principal and general counsel for the Podesta Group, a Washington, D.C. government relations and public relations firm.

He also worked as legislative director for former U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor, where he managed the legislative staff and provided strategic counsel on legislative and political matters, according to the press release.

“Before working in the senate, he was deputy director and managing attorney for the National Association of Attorneys General and served in the tax division of the U.S. Department of Justice,” according to the release.

A cum laude graduate of Hendrix College, he received his J.D. degree at Georgetown University Law Center.

He and his wife, Juliette, are the parents of two children, Adjua, a law student at Georgetown University, and Wade, a junior at Harvard University.
