Diddy is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards this year, so he’s marking the moment with a star-studded “retrospective” performance that will take fans through his musical legacy.

According to the network, the music mogul will hit the stage alongside collaborators Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Nas, Lil’ Kim, Busta Rhymes, The LoxFaith Evans and Bryson Tiller, who is featured on his latest hit, “Gotta Move On.” Maverick City Music will also be joining Diddy for his performance.

The Lifetime Achievement Award typically honors artists “who have not only significantly shaped culture through their extensive careers, but who have also been transformative leaders that consistently inspire generations by setting a true standard of excellence,” according to a press release.

Diddy is the second rapper to be named the recipient of this award.

The BET Awards 2022, which will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, airs Sunday, June 26, at 8 p.m. ET on the BET channel.
