On Wednesday, Chris Hart, President and CEO of Central Moloney was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and put to rest, again, rumors that the company is leaving Pine Bluff. In the next breath, Hart said he sees some light at the end of the tunnel as far as the future is concerned.
Morning show host Greg Horne told Hart that starting July 31, and for a period of eight days, non-political party candidates can file for Mayor, or for a seat on the city council. He also told Hart that he could run.
Hart went on to say this.
“I get the weight that goes with that job,” Hart said. “Why would you want that job and be scrutinized by everybody in the community?”
