UAM SB - 2022 Awards

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – The day before the opening of the 2022 Great American Conference Softball Championship Tournament, the conference announced it’s All-GAC Teams and academic awards were announced. The UAM Softball team had three standout players in the award show this year with, Haley Cornell, Hannah Holdbrook, and Caroline Tedder each earning an award.

Senior designated player Haley Cornell took home the honor of being selected for the All-GAC Second Team.

Junior outfielder Hannah Holdbrook took home the honor of All-GAC honorable mention.

Finally, Senior Caroline Tedder was given the GAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete award.

The Blossoms are back on the field tomorrow, Thursday, May 5th, to open up their first game of the GAC Championship Tournament. UAM will take on Arkansas Tech in their tournament opener and the game is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. in Bentonville, Arkansas at the Tiger Athletics Complex.
