The Memorial Day weekend is just around the corner and marks the return of the Black Pilots of America Operation Skyhook at the Grider Field Airport.
Airport manager Doug Hale talked about what’s going to be happening when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said that several years ago, the morning show has a guest who got interested in flying because of the annual event and is now a pilot with Southwest Airlines based in Dallas.
Hale went on to say this.
Horne also asked Hale how many people are expected to attend the event this year.
