A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff woman who allegedly punched her father in the face, breaking his nose during an altercation.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Taleyiah Baker, 22, with two counts of second offense third-degree domestic battery, a felony.
Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said Baker pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery in January 2021.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on Dec. 3, police were sent to a reported domestic disturbance.
Baker was ordered to have no contact with her parents and told to come back to court Jan. 31.
In addition to the felony allegation, Baker also has multiple prior traffic and failure to appear citations from district court.
