A $25,000 cash only bond was set Monday for an Altheimer man previously convicted of multiple felonies after drugs were found during a traffic stop Friday.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Damond Gaddy, 44, with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver.
Reading from an affidavit from White Hall Police, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at about 4 p.m. Friday, White Hall Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Gaddy that had expired temporary tags.
Gaddy, who was called an habitual offender, said he would hire his own attorney and was told to come back to court April 7.
