A Pine Bluff man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly pointed a gun at his sister.
Emoni Sharkey, 26, was taken into custody after police were sent to a reported armed disturbance at 803 S. Gum St., at 2:43 p.m.
During a court hearing Monday, Deputy Prosecutor Lisa McGriff explained the circumstances that led to the arrest by reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin.
Boykin reported that he took a recorded statement from Sharkey’s sister about the incident.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $2,500 bond for Sharkey after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with aggravated assault on a family or household member and terroristic threatening.
He was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court June 11.
