Starting Sunday, October 28, 2018, Montgomery Point Lock and Dam near Tichnor will adjust its operations when the navigation pass is open, according to a news release from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Between 10:30am and 12:30pm each day, a lock operator won’t be available to provide current conditioners to mariners. The navigation pass will remain open for use during this two-hour period each day, and mariners can contact Norrell Lock & Dam (No. 1) NM 10.3 on Channel 16 for the most recent information available on conditions at Montgomery Point.
