The smell of sulphur wafted in the air as a fire broke out at a house in Pine Bluff’s French quarter today around 2 pm on the corner of E 2nd Ave and S Missouri St, raining ash along the surrounding houses.
The address of the property is 711 E 2nd Ave.
According to property records, the house is vacant but was last owned by John Dunn in 2006.
There’s a small “Welcome to the French Quarter” sign right as you enter the street where the house is located.
Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency services were on the scene, fighting back the smoldering flames.
The fire is currently under investigation, and Deltaplex News will provide an update once one becomes available.
