Kickstart Kingsland will host a community bingo fundraiser Saturday, July 4, with proceeds supporting construction of the future Kingsland Amphitheater.
The event begins at 5 p.m. at the former Kingsland School, 16650 U.S. 79, and marks the start of plans to hold bingo games every other Saturday following community interest.
The fundraiser will feature six regular bingo games with $25 prizes and a special game awarding a $250 prize in recognition of America’s 250th birthday.
Admission is $30 and includes bingo cards and entry into a door prize drawing. Attendees may also purchase a spaghetti dinner with garlic bread and a drink for an additional $10.
According to organizers, proceeds from the event will go toward construction of the Kingsland Amphitheater, which is planned to serve as the future home of the Get Rhythm Music Festival and other community events.
