Rep. Bruce Westerman
Earlier this week, Fourth District Congressman Bruce Westerman spent time with other members of the U.S. House of Representatives in Louisiana talking about increasing energy production, particularly by offshore drilling for petroleum.
Westerman talked about the trip with Deltaplex News.
With the price of energy and particularly gasoline considerably higher than it has been recently, Westerman was what needed to be done to attack the problem and bring prices down.
Westerman said there is currently “an all-out war on domestic energy production and we need to start producing what we have because we have an abundance.
