A pair of Dio live album reissues will be released in 2021.
Evil or Divine: Live in New York City, which was originally recorded in 2002, and Holy Diver Live, originally recorded in 2005, will be both be available with remastered audio and new cover art on February 12.
The two collections are part of an ongoing reissue series of Dio’s live albums in collaboration with the record label BMG.
“I am very excited to be working with BMG, a label that still has a passion for rock music,” says Wendy Dio, widow of the late Ronnie James Dio. “They will be making the complete Dio catalogue available again with some interesting surprises.”
While you wait for the reissues to arrive, you can download the Evil or Divine version of “Lord of the Last Day” and the Holy Diver Live recording of “Holy Diver” now via digital outlets. A live video for “Holy Diver” is also streaming now on YouTube.
