$30,000 bond set for Pine Bluff man accused of residential burglary

A Pine Bluff man was arrested Monday after he allegedly broke into a house and physically assaulted a woman inside the house.

Gary Ross, 56, was arrested after police stopped a truck that Ross was driving after he fled from the house at 2511 S. Poplar St., Police had gone there in response to an unknown trouble report.

During a court hearing Wednesday, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King explained what officers found when they arrived.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $30,000 bond for Ross after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with residential burglary. He was ordered to have no contact with the victims until the case is settled and said he would hire his own attorney.
