Former Arkansas Razorback quarterback and White Hall Bulldogs head football coach Ryan Mallett tragically lost his life Tuesday in a drowning incident in Destin, Florida.

Mallett, who is considered perhaps the best quarterback to ever play for the Arkansas Razorbacks, had plenty of highlights that helped him become a third round pick in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.

Mallett’s 7,493 passing yards rank second in program history, right behind Tyler Wilson’s 7,765 yards. Wilson served as Mallett’s backup for the 2009-10 seasons before he took over as the starter in 2011.
