A $20,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff woman who allegedly shot at a man during an altercation Saturday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Shahnyl Roberts, 29, with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West explained the allegations against Roberts.

West said Roberts has no prior convictions or pending charges and she was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled. Pine Bluff attorney Maurice Taggart appeared in court and said he was going to represent Roberts.
