A reported burglary in progress in the early morning hours Friday resulted in the arrest of an England man found at the scene.
Sheriff’s Investigator Terry Wingard reported that deputies found Quartez Clark, 32, of England, outside a black GMC Yukon on the property at 131800 Highway 15 north in Tucker after receiving a call from the caretaker of the property.
Deputy Prosecutor MIrcha King then told the court what the deputies found.
When Clark was interviewed, he said he had run out of gas and said he knew the rims were in the truck because he had just bought them,
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $20,000 bond for Clark Friday after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with residential burglary.
