A preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police has identified the man who was killed in Pine Bluff Friday when he was struck by a vehicle.
According to the report, the victim was Darald W. Warren, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident which occurred at West 6th Avenue (Highway 190) and Pecan Street at 5:31 p.m.
The report said Warren was walking west on 6th Avenue in the west bound lane and was struck by a vehicle just as he passed Pecan Street.
It was raining at the time and the roadway was wet.
The death was the 594th so far this year on the state’s roads and highways.
