A $100,000 bond was set Thursday for a Pine Bluff man accused of having sex with an underage girl.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Villa Eans, 31, with rape.

Reading from an affidavit from Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, police received an anonymous about the location of a missing 13-year-old female.

Wieland reported that when Eans was interviewed, he said he thought the girl was 17 but she was 13.

Eans was ordered to have no contact with the victim and said he would hire his own attorney.
