A $10,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff woman who allegedly broke into a house on the west side of the city Sunday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Lakeysha Huggins, 46, with residential burglary.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Enrique Soto, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King said police were sent to a house in the 600 block of West 6th Ave., at approximately 4 p.m. in response to a reported breaking or entering.

The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Huggins and she was told to come back to court June 30.
