Jessica Scruggs, 35, will have to post a $10,000 bond to be released from the adult detention center after Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth ruled Thursday prosecutors have probable cause to charge Scruggs with committing a terroristic act.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King said police were sent to 805 N. Haley St., in response to a reported disturbance.

King said the victim told police that Scruggs then got back into her vehicle, a Ford Explorer, and left the residence.

Scruggs was ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
