A $10,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of injuring his father Wednesday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Dante Watson, 27, with second-degree domestic battery.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said police were sent to a reported domestic disturbance at a house on Argyle Avenue.

West said that because the victim was over the age of 60, Watson was being charged with second-degree domestic battery. He was ordered to have no contact with his father until the case is settled.
