A $10,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff man previously convicted of a felony after a gun was found in his possession.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Bryan Kentle, 26, as a felon possessing a firearm.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King said that at 9:40 p.m., Saturday, police were working for a block party at 2nd Avenue and Main Street in downtown Pine Bluff.

King said a criminal history check showed that Kentle had previously been convicted of a felony. He said he would hire his own attorney.
