White Hall Superintendent Gary Williams
Gary Williams, who is the new superintendent of the White Hall School District said Friday he is beginning to make contacts with staff members who are slowly coming back into the offices after the summer break.
Williams, who was formerly superintendent of the Crossett School District assumed his new duties on July 1, replacing now retired superintendent Doug Dorris.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show, Williams was asked if there were any projects he needed to tackle immediately.
A large part of that budget is devoted to teacher pay and Williams said this about that.
Morning show host Greg Horne asked Williams about schools in other states, particularly Texas attempting to recruit teachers in Arkansas and offering them higher pay.
