The UAPB/Arkansas game is just days away and those who run Little Rock’s War Memorial Stadium are hoping that the changes they have instituted since last season will be the fans experience more enjoyable.

Last year, fans expressed concerns over lack of water and problems with ticketing systems to get into the stadium. Jon Latch, who manages the stadium said they have added ticket scanners, increasing the amount to 60, which they hope will help fans get in and out more quickly. To deal with the expected 90 degree temps at kickoff next Thursday, the stadium will feature newly installed 18 foot diameter fans on each side of the stadium to push cold air throughout the inside. Each concession stand will also have fans and water available to keep people hydrated. Free water will also be available at the “water monster” stations throughout the concourse. Fans will be allowed to bring in empty water bottles to fill up. Some other notes about the game for fans:

Concealed carry is prohibited, even with a permit.
