On December 31, 2019, at about 4:42 P.M., Pine Bluff Police Officers responded to Oceans Restaurant at 2213 E. Harding in reference to a reported stabbing.
A male with apparent stab wounds was located outside of the business.
The victim, 33-year-old Sidney Hayes Jr., was transported by EASi ambulance service to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he died of his wounds at 6:24 P.M.
The victim will be sent to the State Crime Lab for autopsy.
Harris’ death was the 29th homicide for Pine Bluff in 2019.
