The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Office of Career Services announces its upcoming UAPB Fall Career Summit on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.  This event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Kenneth L. Johnson Sr. Complex, H.O. Clemmons Arena (HPER) on the UAPB campus. Currently, 123 organizations representing business/industry, government agencies, graduate/professional schools, and school districts from across the U.S. will attend.

In the past, the UAPB Fall Career Summit has been primarily open to students enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and alumni.  As a new highlight, this season’s summit has been expanded to include students enrolled at Philander Smith University and Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, AR, and the University of Arkansas at Monticello in Monticello, AR. This expansion is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and the growth of our community.

“Our Career Summit is one of the largest of its kind, featuring numerous employers that are looking to hire qualified candidates for summer internships, Cooperative Education, and permanent careers,” says Shirley Cherry, Director of the UAPB Office of Career Services.  “We want to present this tremendous opportunity to as many individuals as possible.  We are excited that students from three other institutions of higher learning are bringing their students to allow them to take advantage.  Employers have the added bonus and another valid reason to attend the event given the variety of students they will have to network with.”

We encourage all students and alumni to attend the event. The registered organizations are listed below:
