A reported threat to shoot high school students at Jack Robey on Monday resulted in a student being searched and that students mother, who made the threat, being detained and questioned by police.
Multiple sources told Deltaplex News that the mother of the female student contacted authorities and the student was searched after she got off a school bus. No weapon was found and no one was injured in the incident. The mother who made the call is being questioned by authorities.
The district has declined comment on the incident which is under investigation.
The Pine Bluff School District is using the former Jack Robey Junior High while construction is underway on the new high school.
