From June 12 until June 14, highway 293 near Star City will be closed temporarily for a replacement project.
According to ARDOT, If there are no weather setbacks, crews will replace a pipe culvert in the Avery Community on Guy Road.
Only local traffic will have access to Highway 293, during the closure. Traffic will be managed with signage, construction barrels, and message boards.
Drivers are advised to proceed with caution while navigating through the work zone.
Detours will be in position for commuters to use the following locations:
- Highway 11
- Highway 114
- Highway 83
- Highway 54
