UAPB Vice Chancellor Chris Robinson Appointed to Governor’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics and Director of Athletics Chris Robinson has been appointed by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders to serve on the Arkansas Governor’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.
The appointment places Robinson among a select group of leaders from across the state charged with promoting healthy lifestyles, physical activity, and wellness initiatives for Arkansans. Governor Sanders announced the appointment as part of a series of board and commission selections aimed at strengthening public service and community engagement throughout Arkansas.
Robinson, a respected leader in collegiate athletics and higher education, has played a pivotal role in advancing the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s athletic programs while emphasizing student-athlete development, academic achievement, and community involvement. His appointment recognizes years of dedication to sports and wellness initiatives both on campus and across the state.
