After a strong offseason, head coach Alonzo Hampton is optimistic about what’s to come. Hampton recently spoke with Deltaplex News to share insights on the team’s progress and expectations for the upcoming season.
Hampton said there will be a competition for the starting quarterback job during fall camp, with several talented players vying for the spot.
With fall camp approaching, Hampton discussed what he expects from his team and noted that a new offensive line coach will be announced soon.
Hampton added that he wants his team to develop more toughness heading into the season and emphasized the importance of improving on defense.
The Golden Lions will also need increased production from their special teams unit this season.
