UAPB Head Baseball Coach Logan Stout Discusses Facility Upgrades and Future Plans

Since Logan Stout was hired as head coach just over a year ago, the UAPB Golden Lions baseball program has undergone several facility upgrades. Those improvements are continuing with the rehabilitation of Torii Hunter Field.

Stout discussed the ongoing field upgrades with Deltaplex News, noting they’ve enlisted Jeff Salmond — who has worked on natural turf fields for the Texas Rangers, Arkansas Razorbacks, Arkansas Travelers, and others.

Stout recently shared a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, emphasizing the importance of fall ball for players aspiring to compete at the college level. He also discussed his plans for the team this fall.

He also offered a glimpse into what’s ahead for the Golden Lions in 2026, adding that it’s important his team have a good fall to prepare for the upcoming season.

Stout continued by speaking about how last year’s success has helped with recruiting.

Stout also spoke about his September 6 prospect camp, emphasizing how valuable such events are for high school players hoping to get recruited.
