Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) has announced the hiring of Brian Donald as its new Sports Information Coordinator and Media Specialist. A proud Pine Bluff native with over two decades of media production experience, Donald brings a deep connection to the community and a rich legacy in storytelling to his new role.
Media has been a lifelong pursuit for Donald, whose passion was sparked early by his father, a respected figure in local radio and television. Under his father’s mentorship, Donald developed hands-on skills in broadcasting, editing, and production at an early age—training that laid the foundation for a versatile career in multimedia.
Donald became a familiar face on his family’s gospel TV program Get Your Praise On, where he hosted the popular segment “Did You Know,” offering entertaining and informative insights on topics ranging from politics to health to unusual laws. He later joined his father for “Battle Fridays,” a special radio segment that added spirited conversation and commentary to the family’s media offerings.
Over the years, Donald has built a reputation as a creative force in photography, videography, live production, branding, and strategic media content. He has produced dynamic campaigns and storytelling for schools, political candidates, and businesses throughout Arkansas, consistently using media as a tool to amplify voices and strengthen community ties.
In his new position at SEARK, Donald will oversee athletic media coverage while also contributing to the college’s broader marketing and communication strategies through visual storytelling and content creation.
“Media has always been a part of who I am,” said Donald. “To bring that passion to SEARK, a place that’s investing in the future of this region, is an honor. I’m ready to use everything I’ve learned to spotlight the people and programs that make this college special.”
Dr. Tyrone Jackson, President of SEARK College, praised Donald’s appointment, noting his ability to connect with audiences and reflect the college’s mission through compelling content.
“Brian brings a natural talent, strong community roots, and a passion for storytelling that aligns with our vision at SEARK,” Dr. Jackson said. “His ability to highlight the heart of our college will elevate how we share our story with the world.”
Southeast Arkansas College welcomes Brian Donald as a valuable addition to its marketing team and looks forward to the creative energy and local insight he brings to the role.
