Pine Bluff Zebras Welcome John Tate IV as New Assistant Football Coach

The Pine Bluff Zebras Football program has announced the hiring of John Tate IV as Assistant Coach. A proud alumnus of the Pine Bluff School District, Tate returns with a strong legacy of sports achievement and leadership.

As a student at Pine Bluff, Tate excelled in athletics, contributing to the team’s success with three state championships—two in football and one in basketball—from 2013 to 2015. His impressive high school career secured him a full scholarship to the University of Memphis, where he played for the Memphis Tigers from 2016 to 2021.

During his time at Memphis, Tate made a notable impact on the field, participating in 53 games. His achievements were recognized with several accolades, including:
