PINE BLUFF, AR – The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff women’s basketball delivered its most dominant performance of the season Thursday afternoon, rolling to an 85-51 win over Arkansas Baptist inside H.O. Clemmons Arena.

The Lady Lions controlled the game from start to finish, using balanced scoring, defensive pressure, and overwhelming depth to secure their third victory of the year. UAPB shot 48 percent from the field and posted a season-high +28 advantage on the glass, finishing with 56 total rebounds.
The Lady Lions forced 29 turnovers, converting them into 34 points, while dominating the paint with a 64-20 scoring margin.

UAPB’s bench was exceptional, contributing 56 points in one of the team’s most complete efforts of the season. Zoey Davis led the Lady Lions with a perfect 7-for-7 outing and a game-high 18 points, while freshman guard Jakyra Jackson delivered a standout performance with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals.
Jailah Pelly added 10 points and 6 assists, and Tyra Taylor chipped in 9 points and 12 rebounds as UAPB continued to pull away throughout the second half, outscoring Arkansas Baptist 50-19 across the final two quarters.
