Kaylin Robinson of Batesville Signs With UAPB Volleyball

Maumelle, Ark. — One of north Arkansas’ standout high-school volleyball talents made her college plans official, as Maumelle senior Kaylin Robinson signed her National Letter of Intent to join the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions on National Volleyball Signing Day.
Robinson, a dynamic outside hitter known for her athleticism and all-around versatility, celebrated the milestone surrounded by family, teammates, and coaches inside the Batesville High School gym. The ceremony capped a standout prep career marked by leadership, consistency, and a growing reputation as one of the region’s top competitors. Robinson amassed 136 kills along with 46 blocks and 39 aces.
UAPB coaches praised Robinson’s ability to make an immediate impact at the collegiate level, highlighting her strong court awareness, explosive leaping ability, and competitive motor. With the Golden Lions continuing to build the program, Robinson’s commitment adds depth and firepower to a team on the rise.
Maumelle head coach reflected on Robinson’s growth, noting her work ethic and team-first mindset as defining traits. “Kaylin has been the heart of our team,” the coach said. “She brings energy, confidence, and a willingness to do whatever it takes. UAPB is getting a special player and an even better person.”
For Robinson, signing with UAPB represents both a dream realized and the start of a new challenge. She expressed excitement about joining the Golden Lions family, competing at the Division I level, and continuing her development under UAPB Head Coach Gabrielle Floyd and her coaching staff.
Robinson’s ties to UAPB run deep, as both her parents were Golden Lion student athletes. Her mother, Kim Robinson, competed in Track & Field and her father, Chris Robinson, was the quarterback for the Golden Lions football squad and led the team to a national record 5 win season coming off the Death Penalty in 1993. Older brother Chris Robinson II also played football at UAPB.
