Golden Lions Drops Season Opener Against Little Rock

PINE BLUFF, AR. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women’s soccer team dropped its season opener 7-0 to Little Rock on Sunday afternoon at Pumphrey Stadium.

UAPB goalkeeper Makaila Riedel had a busy afternoon, leading the Lady Lions with 10 saves between the posts. With the loss, the Lady Lions move to 0-1-1 overall on the season, after the match against Williams Baptist was cut short due inclement weather ending in a 2-2 draw.
