Several high school football teams from the Deltaplex region have earned spots in the 2025 Arkansas Varsity Preseason Football Rankings, released Monday, as excitement builds ahead of the new season.
The Sheridan Yellowjackets cracked the Class 6A rankings, landing at No. 10 following a strong offseason showing and solid expectations for the year ahead.
In Class 4A, the Warren Lumberjacks are gaining attention early, coming in at No. 4. Known for their storied tradition and playoff experience, Warren looks to once again be a contender this fall.
Class 3A features a strong Deltaplex presence with Fordyce leading the way at No. 2, while Rison and Dumas round out the bottom of the top ten at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively. All three programs have built winning cultures and are expected to make postseason runs.
In Class 2A, the Poyen Indians are ranked No. 5, highlighting another Deltaplex program to watch in 2025.
Fall camp for all Deltaplex teams begins next week as preparations ramp up for the fast-approaching season kickoff in late August.
