Jefferson County Sheriff Lafayette Woods Jr., on Thursday said he has been contacted by new Pine Bluff Police Chief Denise Richardson about Pine Bluff officers rejoining the Tri-County Drug Task Force.
Woods was a guest on the Oldies 10013 morning show which was broadcasting live from an enrollment event at Southeast Arkansas College.
He said Pine Bluff Police stopped working with the drug task force in 2008 or 2009.
Woods was also asked why Pine Bluff pulled out and answered this way.
