Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson joined Talk Back Live on 99.3 FM with host Floyd Donald on Thursday, June 9th, and discussed several topics concerning the county.
One of those topics touched on a group in Arkansas petitioning to rescind state casinos.
Robinson further elaborated on that and his opinion on the matter.
Robinson went on to highlight that Saracen Casino has provided over 900 jobs and explained why he supported having a casino built in Pine Bluff.
In light of the revenue that Saracen is bringing to the county, Robinson stated that the county has only used 25 percent of that revenue.
In relation to Polk county having some setbacks in building a casino, Robinson compared that to the decision to open Saracen in Pine Bluff.
