A $15,000 bond was set Monday for a Redfield man on drug related charges.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jeffery Reynolds, 46, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Officer Michael Musgrove, Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on Saturday at about 10:50 a.m., Musgrove was patrolling on Sheridan Road at I-530 when he saw a silver Hyundai with no license plate traveling west on Sheridan Road.

Spradlin said Reynolds has a prior felony conviction but is not currently on probation or parole.

He was told to come back to court June 16 and said he would hire his own attorney.
