7:36 pm Update from PBPD :
On October 26, 2022, just before 5:00 PM, Detectives with the Pine Bluff Police Department went to 2809 S. Camden, ImmunoTek Plasma Center, to attempt to locate a wanted person. The suspect was came out of the business and opened fire with a handgun on the Detectives, resulting in an exchange of gunfire. The suspect was struck during the exchange. No Officer was hit during the exchange. The suspect was treated at the scene and transported to a Little Rock hospital. The condition of the suspect is unknown at this time. The suspect was a customer at the center, not an employee.
The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigative Division is investigating this Officer involved shooting. Any further information on the progress of the case will be handled through their Public Information Office until the conclusion of their investigation. The Pine Bluff Officers will be placed on administrative leave with pay pending the conclusion of the investigation and review by prosecutors

Law enforcement sources are telling Deltaplex News that the Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a shooting at iTek Plasma located at 2809 South Camden Road.
