As summer slips away and fall weather approaches, Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services Chief Shauwn Howell was asked if there are things residents need to be aware of.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show Friday, Howell answered this way.
On another subject, Howell said the department currently has 86 firefighters and he would like to have in excess of 100.
Asked by morning show host Greg Horne if the department was still hiring and losing people, Howell said.
He went on to confirm that some of the firefighters his department are losing are going to other department for more money.
