Monday morning at about 12:30 a.m. the Pine Bluff Police Department were dispatched to a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision in the area of the 4100 block of South Camden Rd. (Hwy 79 South).
When the officers arrived they located 33-year-old Travis Burrows unresponsive in the middle of the outside Southbound lane.
EASI ambulance service and members of the Pine Bluff Fire Department were attempting to treat Mr. Burrows, but advised the officers that he was deceased.
The driver who struck Mr. Burrows stopped and cooperated with Officers. Witnesses also stopped and gave statements about the collision.
According to witness accounts, Mr. Burrows was walking at or near the middle of the outside lane when he was struck.
Based on driver and witness statements and evidence at the scene, no citations have been issued and no arrests have been made.
