The Pine Bluff Police Department recently announced in a Facebook post that they have received reports of Breaking or Entering vehicles lately involving a small group of juveniles or young adult males. These males have been primarily entering unlocked vehicles at night, and some of them have been obviously armed with firearms.
If you observe one of these people trying to get in a car, call 9-1-1 immediately. Please do not approach them; they may be armed.
The announcement is also urging the public to remember to always lock your car doors regardless of the neighborhood you live in. Always remove all valuables from your vehicles when you are parking them overnight, especially firearms. Do not leave your vehicles running when you are away from them.
PBPD included photos of the suspects involved in the recent incidents and anyone who knows the identity of any of the people in those pictures are asked to call the detective office at 870-730-2090, the dispatch center at 870-541-5300, or the tip line mentioned above at 870-730-2106.
