A Dermott woman was killed and a Lake Village man injured in a two-vehicle accident in rural Drew County Saturday.
According to a preliminary report, Corneshia J. Killpatrick, 29, was northbound on Arkansas Highway 35 when the 2017 Nissan she was driving crossed the center line and struck a 2016 Ford driven by James L. Rauls, 65, head-on.
Killpatrick was killed and Rauls injured and taken to a hospital at McGehee.
The accident was reported at 12:18 p.m. and the death was the 262nd so far this year on the state’s highways.
