Law enforcement officials are confirming that one pilot is dead and another severely injured after two crop dusters collided Tuesday afternoon in Ashley County.
The collision took place at approximately 5:10 p.m. two and a half miles east of Portland, on Highway 160, in Ashley county.
There is no information available on what led to the collision.
The Ashley County Sheriff Department and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the accident.
