Sandi Metz, wrote a letter of appreciation to the Pine Bluff Police Department expressing her gratitude for the exemplary service portrayed by Officer Joe Anderson during the homegoing celebration for her mother. Sandi stated:
“Officer Anderson ensured our safety and provided the orderly flow of traffic, allowing the procession to move through the intersections and congested areas without undue delays or disruptions, while showing amazing respect to our family. All of the attendees commented on Officer Anderson’s superb service saying they had never been to a funeral that moved through traffic more freely and easily.
Even upon arrival at the cemetery, Officer Anderson continued to show respect to our family and those in attendance by making certain that everyone had safely found their way to the correct place. The Funeral Director, Mr. Chuck Fuller, was so impressed by Officer Anderson that he insisted on his personal contact information for future reference. ”
